Five elements - Five Yin Organs

According to the Tao theory about the Five Elemental Forces, every one of the five main organs corresponds to a specific natural element.These elements are water, fire, wood, metal and earth. They represent five processes of energy or five natural forces. In a human organism the element of water corresponds to the kidneys, fire - heart, wood - liver, earth - spleen, metal - lungs.
