Taoist Nutrition takes a unique approach: it looks at the energetic properties of each food, and its effect on our own energy flow. Thus instead of trying to decide if a food is “good” or “bad” we can learn its qualities, and thus use foods to create balance and harmony. This system of healing is ancient, and has withstood the test of time. Yet it is still completely relevant to our modern lives and diets.
Tao Garden is a Health Resort located in Northern Thailand that is based on the Taoist system of healing. This includes the exercise programs and healing treatments on offer, as well as the food grown and served there. The meals served in the restaurant are based on Taoist Nutrition principles, as well as keeping up-to-date with modern nutritional discoveries.
For the first time, some of the delicious recipes of Tao Garden have been collected and developed into this recipe book; presented within a framework of Taoist Nutrition.
